Mass Creativity 2022

Mass Creativity is the Museum’s signature outreach program, bringing hands-on, art-making opportunities to diverse communities in San Diego. This year’s 10th annual Mass Creativity program starts with free Imaginative Storytelling workshops held at seven community centers, in which families help tell their community’s story by creating pages of a collective book through painting, drawing and collaging. The workshops then culminate on Mass Creativity Day, an outdoor celebration of art, creativity and community at The New Children’s Museum, where the seven different community pages will be woven together!

Mass Creativity Day will be held on June 25, 9am-3pm, in the Museum Park with live music, food, family-friendly activities and free admission to the Museum all day!

For 2022, we are partnered with the following community centers:

Barrio Logan College Institute
Casa Familiar
City Heights Weingart Library
Skyline Hills Library
The San Diego LGBT Center
