Ready to think, play and create?
The New Children’s Museum offers tours for schools and other groups from pre-kindergarten through high school and beyond.
The Museum’s school and group visit program has a new and improved structure to better serve teachers and students. It launches in conjunction with the newest exhibition, Eureka!, which explores and examines the Golden State, urging students to “dig deeper.”
Group Visits at the New Children's Museum includes:
- A variety of cognitive and physical activities based on contemporary art in our current exhibitions
- Activities and discussions with Teaching Artists that encourage inquiry-based learning through hands-on experiences
- Tools for parents and teachers to facilitate self-guided explorations that tie into classroom-specific goals and curriculum
