The New Children’s Museum offers in-person self-guided visits for groups of 10 or more people.
Group visits MUST be scheduled in advance and are available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Visits are accommodated based on Museum capacity and activities.
Group visits take place from 10am – 12pm.
For the safety of our guests and staff, only one group visit will be booked each day, 40 students maximum per group. During the academic year (September to late May), school visit booking will take priority over group visit booking. Group visits will not be booked during Comic-Con, July 22 – July 29.
1 adult chaperone is required per 5 children. Chaperones do not count toward the total capacity of 40 students per group. If your group includes any one-on-one adult aides, those aides are welcomed free of charge and do not count toward the overall chaperone count.
The group visit discount is only available for groups of 10 or more. Tickets must be bought in person at the time of the visit. Discounted tickets cannot be bought in advance. The group visit discount is 10% off and will be automatically applied at the time of ticket purchase.
NOTE: Drop-in group visits of 10 or more people will be asked to divide into smaller groups due to Museum capacity. On high attendance days, group visits may not be accommodated. Scheduling visits in advance is highly encouraged!
