Support contemporary art for children!
The Rain House Circle is an engaged group of donors who support the Museum in commissioning artists to create immersive contemporary art for children. With gifts of $1,000 or more, Rain House Circle members support our mission in two critical ways:
- Art Conservation: Supporting the ongoing care of our current art installations.
- Signature Art Installations: Underwriting our curatorial process to commission and invest in new installations.
Circle members engage deeply with our leadership team and artists, and enjoy ongoing benefits including Museum membership, exclusive invitations to special events and behind-the-scenes access to our creative process. Become a passionate advocate and dedicated donor committed to the Museum’s practice of commissioning contemporary artists to inspire art and play for a better world today!

The Rain House
The Rain House Circle pays homage to The Rain House by the late Ernest Silva, the first permanent installation in the Museum’s collection that has welcomed visitors since the Museum opened in downtown San Diego in 2008.
