CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES!

WHOOSH! Another year has flown by and our annual Superheroes’ Night Out is back! What better way to recognize our favorite superheroes than an evening filled with music, dancing, food, and even more fun? We’re finally revealing our top-secret plans for the event!

The superhero studio in the Innovators Lab will be open so you can create a superhero sidekick with whom you can fight crime, or an arch nemesis that you might have to defeat! Make/Shift on the main level will be transformed into a Superhero Hideout where you can create your own secret headquarters using boxes, blankets, and ropes. Smaller heroes will have access to the Little Heroes’ Training Course on the upper level, where they can train to jump, run, and show off the skills they will be using to save the city!

In addition, there will be hands-on activities for you and your little superhero to enjoy together.  You and your family can show off your costumes during the Superhero Dance Party and Costume Contest with SOS Entertainment.  The most impressive superhero suit will even receive a prize!

If you don’t have a costume, no need to fear – there will be face painters and branded capes for purchase at the event. And keep an eye out for Fern Street Circus performers, who will be demonstrating their own super strengths around the Museum throughout the night.

It’s your turn to show off your costume and crime-fighting skills at the Superhero Photobooth. Strike your most heroic pose and show those supervillains who’s boss! The paparazzi are sure to be on the lookout for photos of all of San Diego’s newest superheroes!

With all of this action going on, our heroes are sure to get hungry. Continental Catering and San Diego Wine & Culinary will be catering the event so that we can continue to strengthen those growing muscles so you can keep protecting our city!
