The KIND Summer Camp Scholarship Fund

Thanks to a generous donation by KIND Healthy Snacks and participating camp families, The New Children’s Museum is pleased to offer an increased number of summer camp scholarships this summer season.

The Museum is happy to offer full and partial (60% covered) funding to families who would not otherwise be able to participate in our program.

Funding and Eligibility Guidelines: The New Children’s Museum follows gross income eligibility guidelines established for the Federal Free & Reduced Lunch program. To check your eligibility, please refer to the outline chart located here.

In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must complete a Scholarship Application Form. If the form is not completed, the recipient will not be considered. We will accept applications throughout the summer, but we encourage you to send it in as soon as possible, as programs fill up quickly.

Families will be notified whether or not they have received a scholarship approximately two weeks after we receive your application materials. The applicant’s family is expected to provide transportation to and from the Museum for the camper each day of the program as well as lunch each day.

At present, we have awarded all of our available scholarship funding. We recommend, however, that interested families still consider completing an application and submitting it to the Museum in the event that more funding becomes available. All submitted and approved applications will be kept on file for this purpose.
