diy: bottle cap tambourine

Watch this short video to see how to make a tambourine out of bottle caps!

directions

1. Hot glue together 4 popsicle sticks so that they form a branching Y with two popsicle sticks as the handle. Wrap the tape around your handle to reinforce it.

2. Next, while wearing a pair of safety glasses, use a hammer and nail to punch holes in the center of 4 bottles caps.

3. Carefully, wrap wire around one side of your popsicle holder. String your bottle caps through before wrapping your wire around the other end. Put tape over the wire so it doesn’t come undone.

4. After finishing up your tambourine, you can make it your own by decorating it with tape and markers!
