Jules Jackson is Managing Director of The Octavia E. Butler Estate and Octavia E. Butler Enterprises. In this role, Jules oversees all matters related to Octavia Butler’s critically acclaimed works including all intellectual property, licensing, publishing decisions, and management of the of the trailblazing author’s Estate.
In addition to the television series adaptation of FX’s Kindred, Jules has developed and is currently in pre-production on film and television projects based on Ms. Butler’s novels including Parable of the Sower with Peter Chernin, Garrett Bradley and A24 Films, Fledgling with Issa Rae and JJ Abrams, Wild Seed with Viola Davis and JuVee Productions, and BloodChild with Natalie Portman and Ari Aster, to name a few.
