School + Group Visits

Ready to think, play and create?

The New Children’s Museum offers both in-person and virtual tours for schools and other groups from pre-kindergarten through high school. School visits will begin on October 16, 2023 and will run until late May 2024. 

NOTE: Please allow for 5-10 business days for a response to inquiries as we navigate a high volume of emails. Thank you for understanding! 

 All school and group visits to the Museum include: 

  • Participatory, hands-on experiences that encourage inquiry-based learning inspired by the Museum’s art installations.
  • Interdisciplinary applications in the classroom of the following subjects: visual arts, reading, writing, social studies and science. 
  • Grade level, age-appropriate and standards-aligned activities.

Looking to book an in-person school visit? Please email education@thinkplaycreate.org with the following information:

  • Point of contact information
  • School name and if it is a Title 1 school
  • Grade
  • Number of students (visits are strictly capped at 40 students total each day)
  • Number of adult chaperones (1 adult is required for every 5 students)
  • Type of tour (self-guided or guided Play visit)
  • Payment Method – Cash, Card, Check, or Invoice
  • Preferred date(s)
