Here are five ways you can give back to the Museum this holiday season (and gift friends, family and your community at the same time).
1. Gift a Membership
An annual membership to the Museum can be a thoughtful and valuable gift for families with little ones looking to explore and engage in fun art activities! All memberships include a year of free admission to our multi-level interactive space. Plus, members get discounts on classes, camps, special events, Bean Sprouts cafe, in our Pop Up Shop and more. 2. Shop with Amazon Smile
If you’re doing holiday shopping on Amazon, then make sure to use Amazon Smile. It’s the same Amazon service except a percentage of your Amazon purchases will be donated to The New Children’s Museum! Login to Amazon Smile with your regular Amazon account info and select The New Children’s Museum as your charity!
3. Sponsor a Camper
Give the gift of art-making and learning by sponsoring a child to attend our day camps at the Museum! Camps at our Museum combine hands-on art-making activities, creative games and playtime in the Museum’s galleries. Our camp programs are designed for children ages 4-12 and occur during spring, summer, fall and winter breaks.
4. Make a Stop at our Pop Up Shop
Get your holiday shopping done at our Museum Pop Up Shop! Our Pop Up Shop is stocked with adorable lunch totes, unique toys, art supplies, branded items, books and more! Members receive 10% off on all shop items every day. Plus, on December 8 and 9, we are hosting a Holiday Shopping Sale with a 25% discount on all shop items for members only.
5. Make a Donation
Gift directly to the Museum by making any contribution you wish! We’re in the middle of our year-end appeal, hoping to raise $40,000 to support our pARTners in Creativity program, through which we bring children and families from 11 social service organizations all over San Diego to visit the Museum.
