Gabby’s Dollhouse Meet + Greet FAQs

We can’t wait to welcome you on Sunday, March 2, 2025 to The New Children’s Museum for a purr-fectly magical day with Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse! Your little ones will have the chance to meet the costumed Gabby character for hugs, high-fives, and a picture-perfect moment they’ll cherish. Plus, explore our fun, interactive Museum exhibits and stop by our Innovators LAB for a special Gabby’s Dollhouse-themed activity for kids 6+!

For the best and smoothest experience, read our event FAQs below.

• Every guest in your party must have both:
  • A general Museum admission ticket (included with membership for Museum members)
  • A Gabby’s Dollhouse Meet + Greet ticket (which you already reserved!)
• Upon arrival, a member of the NCM Team will verify your Meet + Greet ticket at the entrance of the Museum. Each guest with a Meet + Greet ticket will receive a color-coded wristband for their time slot.
• Only guests wearing a wristband will be permitted into the Meet + Greet area.
• Arrive early! Guests who miss their time slot will be directed to join our Standby Line which does not guarantee entry to the Meet + Greet.
• If you haven’t purchased general admission tickets yet, you may do so online in advance or at our Welcome Desk on the day of your visit. Keep in mind, all guests—members, online ticket holders, and general visitors purchasing walk-up admission—must wait in the same entry line. 

• The Museum will be open for you to explore all three floors of interactive contemporary art installations at The New Children’s Museum—perfect for family-friendly fun!
• The Meet + Greet will be held in our new Art Studio on the top level of the Museum.
• Please arrive at the Art Studio, located at the top level of the Museum next to Whammock!, 10 minutes before your scheduled time so your group can line up together.
• When it’s your turn, our team will escort you into the Meet + Greet space, where your child can say hello, give Gabby a hug or high-five, and snap a special photo.
• After your moment with Gabby, our team will hand out a fun Gabby’s Dollhouse-themed item (while supplies last) and guide you out so you can continue exploring the Museum!

• The event takes place at The New Children’s Museum at 200 W. Island Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101.
• Museum Garage: Limited parking available for $20/car ($10 for Museum members & EBT/WIC/SNAP cardholders).
• Nearby Parking: Public lots and metered spaces are available.
  • ABM Parking (450 2nd Ave.) offers a 2-hour discount with code 8792 (exclusions apply, including Padres games).
• Public Transportation: Accessible via the MTS Trolley Green Line and MTS Bus.
