Join us for our next Seed to Tree workshop, “Family Poetry Futures” led by Jason Magabo Perez (he/him) on Saturday, July 19 from 11am-2pm.
This will be a family-friendly, future-building, collaborative poetry-making workshop where attendees will experiment with the infinite layers of language, lyric, and memory! Participants will share family stories, learn from, and find inspiration in the sage words of Octavia E. Butler, and create their own poetry posters for our future.
This workshop is for adults and kids 12 years old and up. All individuals and families are welcome! No prior experience with poetry and creative writing required.
