Get spooky and sustainable! In partnership with Zero Waste San Diego, we’re giving old things new life through creative reuse. Enjoy these activities during your visit:
- Bring a well-loved toy to our toy hospital for some TLC
- Dream up spooky creatures from spare parts and found images
- Craft a one-of-a-kind junk frame or amulet
- Settle in for a reuse-and-repair story time
Important Details
- Grown-ups participate: FAM Studio is designed for kids and their grown-ups to create together! Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver throughout the program.
- Who it’s for: All ages are welcome, but most activities are best suited for kids 4 and up.
- Younger siblings welcome: Kids under 4 are welcome, too! Our toddler zone has relaxed coloring and play, so everyone has a place to settle in.
- Registration and last entry: FAM Studio is free with Museum admission and always free for members. Because space is limited, registration is required at the Welcome Desk. Last entry is at 11:15 am, so your family has plenty of time to enjoy every station.
