What’s in the Dark…Discovering Hidden Worlds (Ages 6+)
Join us for the next Innovators LAB workshop to create your own imaginary world with a fun twist! Draw an imaginary place on a transparency using black, red, or blue fine-tip markers. Then, the magic happens:
- Place your drawing over colored paper that matches your marker color, and watch it disappear!
- Bring your creation to life by moving a white cut-out flashlight between the pages!
This hands-on activity is not only mesmerizing but also a fun way to explore art and light!

Things to know before visiting the Innovators LAB:
- Workshop sign up is located at the Innovators Lab; there are no advanced reservations.
- Morning sign up starts at 9am until full, and the workshop starts promptly at 10:30am.
- Afternoon sign up starts at 1pm until full, and starts promptly at 2:30pm.
- Capacity is 8 children for the guided workshop.
- Ages 6+ is adhered to for safety reasons.
