The New Children’s Museum is excited to be welcoming Bean Sprouts café to serve up nutritious and delicious meals to our Museum visitors. Bean Sprouts is a nationally recognized café concept that offers a playful and healthy eating experience for the whole family. Their award-winning kids’ menu includes an assortment of snacks and meals to keep you and your little ones satisfied during a busy day at the Museum.

For Bean Sprouts, healthy eating isn’t just a catchphrase, it’s a promise. Bean Sprouts philosophy is to “spark children’s appetites with yummy, good-for-you food & delight grown-ups with a happier mealtime”. Their flavorful menu includes a variety of healthy, kid-friendly options that are always organic, non-GMO and hormone-free. Adults don’t have to miss out on the fun as Bean Sprouts offers an equally delicious menu for adults to enjoy, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and allergy free options.

Their creative menu- including options like the “Flutter Bite” and “Crocamole”- is featured with pictures at a lower counter in the café to empower children to make their own healthy eating choices.

Bean Sprouts was launched in 2007 by super-moms-turned-business-partners Shannon “Peacasso” Seip and Kelly ”Pea Brain” Parthen, who envisioned creating a café that would make mealtime fun for kids. Since then, these California natives have expanded their business to nine cafes across the country, serving up healthy meals and happiness to children and families at a variety of family-based destinations. When these two busy women aren’t brainstorming new meals ideas for Bean Sprouts, they enjoy spending time with their kids- who they say often help serve as Bean Sprout “taste testers”.
Since their launch, Bean Sprouts has been featured on several notable shows such as Good Morning America and the Today Show. They have also been named a “Top 100 Mover & Shaker” in the restaurant industry as well as recognized by the National Restaurant Association as having the nation’s best Kids’ menu.
