We are excited to announce that the Museum will be participating in the Without Walls (WOW) Festival  presented by the La Jolla Playhouse this year! The festival takes place downtown and on 10/21-10/22 we’re hosting puppetry artist Basil Twist (the creator of the dementors design in Harry Potter) and Faetopia: A Faerie Flash Mob.

Basil Twist, the San Diego Guild of Puppetry, and the UCSD percussion ensemble have created a whimsical 10-minute performance that celebrates the art of Marionette puppetry. Shows will run hourly 10/21 and 10/22 at the Museum (free with admission). We will also have puppet making workshops…check back that week for times.
