Reimagining Tot Studio
We are thrilled to share with you the exciting transformation planned for The New Children’s Museum’s Tot Studio, where toddlers explore, discover and interact with the environment, parents and peers. The new Tot Studio called tikitiko will be reimagined by our 2019 artist-in-residence and internationally-acclaimed artist, designer and craftsperson Tanya Aguiñiga. tikitiko is designed for toddlers and caregivers to make meaningful connections around abstract, anthropomorphic forms covered in colorful, soft and furry textiles. It is scheduled to open on October 11, 2019.
Your donation will bring tikitiko to life and will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $15,000 by our lead supporters, La Jolla Country Day School and Move Play Grow.
