Join us at Artopia: NCM Creative Studios for our Youth Ceramics: At the Wheel Series, a four-week, hands-on program where young artists explore the art of wheel-throwing and create functional ceramic forms.
Current Session: Youth Ceramics: At the Wheel (Ages 11-13)
Dates: Wednesdays, October 8, 15, 22, 29
Times: 3:15–5:15 pm
Students will get the chance to give wheel-throwing a spin, focusing on three essential techniques: centering, opening, and pulling, the foundation for creating bowls, cups, and vases.

Note: Artopia staff will support trimming and glazing after class, so students can stay focused on skill-building. While we prepare pieces for firing, not all beginner work is kiln-safe. This series emphasizes the creative process and skill development over producing a perfect finished product.
