We’re excited to have you join us for our annual fundraising gala, Circus Spectacular! Here are a few quick reminders and some helpful tips for our ticketed guests (click the pink links below for more info)! Event is sold out. 

Event Specifics

  • Date: Saturday, November 5, 2022
  • Times: 
    • VIP Reception in Museum Park: 6-7:30pm (VIP ticket holders)
    • Cocktail Hour on Island Ave: 6:30-7:30pm (All ticket types)
    • Main Event: 7:30-11pm (Museum doors + installations open)
  • Place: 200 W. Island Ave, San Diego (between Front St. and Union St.)

Parking

We are offering complimentary valet parking for all guests, accessible at the corner of Front Street and Island Avenue. Island Avenue will be closed for the party, so please turn on Front Street from Market Street and the valet station will be at the corner before Island Avenue. Or feel free to Uber or Lyft!

Entry

Party guests will enter on Island Avenue off of Front Street. After walking the pink carpet and getting your photo snapped in front of our Circus Spectacular Step and Repeat, you’ll check in at the registration table near our entry bridge. Registration for VIP ticket holders begins at 6pm and main event registration begins at 6:30pm.

Raising Funds for Access

Throughout the night you will have the opportunity to help raise funds for our access programs by participating in the following FUNdraising opportunities:

Fund-A-Need Carnival Games
Purchase raffle tickets (5 for $25 or 10 for $45) to play carnival games along our Midway on Island Avenue. Each game supports one of our access programs. The more you play, the more funds we raise!

Art Auction
Bid on original artworks by nationally renowned artists. Funds raised benefit both our access programs and the contributing artists. The Art Auction is now live! Click here to view the art and start bidding.

Mystery Boxes
For a donation of $50, receive a mystery box with a surprise gift valued up to $300! Possible prizes include gift cards, theatre tickets, museum passes and more – the fun is in the surprise!

Wine + Whiskey Pull
Donate $25 and take home a bottle of wine or whiskey from our selection of bottles valued at $25 or more.

Thanksgiving Week Hours

The Museum will be closed on Thursday, 11/28; however we will be open every other day on Thanksgiving week from 9am-4pm, including Tuesday, 11/26. See you at NCM!
