How and when do I pay?
All payments are accepted upon arrival on the day of your tour or within 30 days following your visit. We accept cash, check and credit cards. Checks should be made payable to The New Children’s Museum. We do not accept purchase orders, memberships, or coupons. We do not issue refunds. Should payment be made in advance, any excess funds cannot be refunded, thus they will be considered a donation.
What is your cancellation policy?
No shows or cancellations given within 7 days of scheduled visit will be charged 50% of their scheduled fee.
Is there a space for our group to eat their lunches while at the Museum?
Yes, groups may eat al-fresco in the Park adjacent to the Museum. There is also a Museum café available to visitors.
Where is the Museum located?
Can you tell me about parking and bus drop-off?
Bus drop-off – Direct your bus driver to drop off students in the bus loading zone on Island Avenue in front of the Museum. This is the only designated bus drop-off and parking location, buses are encouraged to park offsite.
Car parking – The Museum’s on-site underground parking structure has a daily rate of $10 per vehicle. The garage does not open until 9:30am. Metered parking is recommended as the garage is subject to reaching capacity.

How do I prepare my group for a tour?
Group leaders are encouraged to take advantage of a free pre-visit to the Museum to become familiar with the Museum’s layout and current exhibitions. Simply show your visit confirmation at the Welcome Desk for free educator access.
Review the current installations to gain a better understanding of what your students will experience on their visit.
Group leaders will be provided with important tour logistical information when the visit is confirmed.
