Calling all Girl Scouts!

The New Children’s Museum provides daily opportunities for experiences in creativity, play and art making. The Museum is a great place for Daisies, Brownies and Juniors to have fun, make new friends and to work on Girl Scout requirements. Visit the Museum’s spaces, including our awardwinning installations, art studios and Innovators LAB, or join us during our quarterly weekend workshop series to earn a badge centered on the arts, creativity, STEAM and other fun, hands-on topics.

NOTE: Due to the Museum’s temporary closure, the Brownie Inventor’s Studio workshop is postponed until further notice. 

Program Fees

Individual scouts must be accompanied by 1 adult. Troops must be accompanied by 1-2 adults. Program is limited to Girl Scouts and their adult chaperones only.

$5 each

Museum admission is included in the cost of the workshop. Registration is required. Badges not provided at this time.

Discover your inner inventor! Participants will respond to creative and artistic design challenges to solve problems and think like inventors. Meets requirements for the complete Brownie Inventor badge. Daisies and Juniors are also welcome to attend.

Junior Jewelry Makers

Participants explored new techniques and left with a variety of finished pieces – just in time for the holidays! Met requirements for the complete Junior Jeweler badge. Brownies were also welcome to attend!
