The Museum’s studio spaces allow kids to roll up their sleeves and create their own artwork with a wide variety of recycled and sustainable materials. Paint, clay, paper, wood, found objects and more are the building blocks of each inventive studio project.
The Paint & Clay Studio and the Design Studio are facilitated by trained artists. With the opening of Animal Art, the projects in these studios pose the question “how did they do it?”. Each project uses an artwork in the exhibition as inspiration, and studio facilitators encourage kids to answer the question through their own creative work. |
