THE BEAUTY OF SUPPORTING THE NEW CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
September 9, 2008—San Diego, California—Local Carmel Valley business, Skin Authority, will be sponsoring Beauty for the Arts on 28th to benefit The New Children’s Museum, located in the Marina District in downtown San Diego.
This fun and unique event is like no other, and involves both visitors and their children in the celebration of beauty and supporting The New Children’s Museum. The event will be hosted at the beautiful new downtown Museum and will feature a combination of pampering beauty fixes for the adults, and supervised hands-on playing and creating for the kids. Reservations can be made directly by calling Skin Authority at 1 866 325 SKIN, then option 4. Space will be limited and reservations are required.
“Being a long-time area resident and building relationships with our clients and their families over the years, I know how important the arts are to the educational development of the children in our community. We are proud to sponsor this event and invite everyone to experience the beauty of The New Children’s Museum and to support its very important mission,” said Celeste Hilling, CEO of Skin Authority.
“We invite the entire community to Beauty for the Arts to experience for themselves how The New Children’s Museum offers children experiences that encourage them to think, play and create. With arts programs facing drastic cuts in the public school system, the Museum is filling a critical void across all age ranges and sectors of San Diego County,” said Rachel Teagle, PhD, Executive Director of The New Children’s Museum.
